About · The human in the system

Hello, I’m Chirag. This is my record of work in progress.

I’m an AI engineer, data scientist, and indie builder documenting what it takes to move intelligent systems from demos into useful, reliable products.

What I do

I build and deploy AI systems, work through difficult data problems, and turn experiments into tools people can actually use. My work has crossed healthcare and retail, but the recurring thread is the same: make complex systems legible, reliable, and useful.

I’m a data scientist when the sun is out and an indie hacker when it is not. That second shift is where projects like Blacki, Spanning, Binge Docs, and the Valuation Excel Skill keep appearing.

What keeps me curious

I keep returning to machine learning systems, agent infrastructure, data architecture, economics, financial analysis, healthcare technology, and the mathematical ideas underneath them. I like the point where a research question becomes a working system.

Aphrodite is the record of that motion: production AI field notes, shipped products, technical essays, and the useful detours that shaped them. It is a publication with a point of view, but still personal enough to wander through.
